This was another "official" Bio Station dive, diving with the
summer students taking the Coral Reef Ecology class. The students were undertaking a
variety of experiments, including fish counts, algae collection and measuring
sea fans. The highlight of this dive was the juvenile Angel Fish (picture 4
and picture 5) swimming around a patch of Fire
Coral - even if taking the photo meant getting stung by the coral, I think it
was worth it. The down side to the dive was a sinus pain, caused by getting
water up my nose of all things! I still had the best part of half a tank left, but there wasn't a lot left to do
anyway...
