This site is known as Abby's Sandhole after a former employee
of the dive company I dive with. Apparently she used to take cruise ship
passengers out to this large sandhole, surrounded by some nice reefs.
This was an impromptu dive, as I went out on the boat thinking
we were going to recover a lost propeller! As it happens, there were a couple of
people from one of the cruise ships booked in to do a " Discover Scuba Diving"
course, and I decided to help. We (the dive master and I) had a good laugh, as
the couple we had were very excitable, and kept swimming off in opposite
directions to each other, and to us!!
